Why?
Because clients sometimes add additional qualifying services during this period. If your referral expands their project or purchases additional eligible services during their review period, those purchases may increase the qualifying amount used to calculate your Referral Credit.
Your final credit is issued after the review period is complete, qualifying payments have been successfully received and cleared, and the referral remains eligible.

Startup Remedy Referral Credit is designed to reward you for helping our business grow by helping your own business grow in return.
Credit can be used for services for:
- You personally
- A business you legitimately own or control
It cannot be transferred to someone else or used to purchase services for unrelated third parties.

What If I Have $1,000 in Credit?
You could use it toward:
- A new website for your company
- A website for another company you legitimately own or control
- Website upgrades
- Additional pages
- Eligible support services
- Other eligible Startup Remedy services
But you could NOT use the $1,000 credit to purchase two $499 websites for two friends, customers, clients, family members or unrelated businesses. Referral Credit cannot be sold, gifted, transferred or used to purchase Startup Remedy services for resale.
Credit Expiration
Use Your Credit Within 12 Months
Each Referral Credit award expires 12 months from the date it is officially issued.
Credits from multiple referrals can accumulate, but each credit award keeps its own expiration date. When multiple credits are available, Startup Remedy may apply the oldest eligible credit first.

The Basics at a Glance
New Clients Only
Qualifying referrals must be new Startup Remedy clients unless an exception is approved.
$300 Minimum
The initial qualifying website design purchase must be at least $300.
Name Before Payment
The new client must identify the referrer before making their first payment.
No Self-Referrals
You cannot refer yourself or use another business or entity you own or control to manufacture a referral.
No Cash Value
Referral Credit cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash and has no monetary value outside eligible Startup Remedy services.
Non-Transferable
Credits cannot be sold, assigned, gifted or transferred.
12-Month Expiration
Each credit expires 12 months after its official issuance date.
No Resale
Services purchased using Referral Credit must be for you or a business you legitimately own or control, not for resale to unrelated third parties.

Eligibility and Attribution
- The referred client must be a new Startup Remedy client unless Startup Remedy expressly approves an exception.
- The referred client must identify the referring person or business before making their first payment.
- Referral claims cannot be added retroactively after the client’s first payment.
- If multiple parties claim the same referral, Startup Remedy may rely on the referral information supplied directly by the new client before payment and Startup Remedy’s records to determine attribution.
Qualifying Purchases
- The initial qualifying website design purchase must be at least $300.
- Qualifying purchases totaling $300–$499 earn 10% in Startup Remedy Credit.
- Qualifying purchases totaling $500 or more earn 15% in Startup Remedy Credit.
- Referral Credit is capped at $750 per qualifying referred client.
- Additional eligible services purchased during the applicable 30–90 day review period may be included in the final qualifying amount.
- Qualifying amounts are based on eligible amounts successfully paid and retained by Startup Remedy.
- Taxes, refunds, discounts, promotional credits, chargebacks, payment reversals, third-party expenses, software/platform costs, advertising spend, pass-through expenses, and other non-qualifying charges may be excluded.
Review and Issuance
- Referral Credit is not issued immediately after the referred client’s first payment.
- Following website launch, each referral is subject to an approximately 30–90 day review period depending on project size, scope, complexity, package, payment status, and associated services.
- Credit is issued only after the applicable review period has been completed, qualifying payments have successfully cleared, and Startup Remedy completes its eligibility review.
- Refunded, canceled, disputed, reversed, unpaid, or charged-back amounts do not qualify.
- If previously issued credit is later connected to a refunded, reversed, disputed, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible transaction, Startup Remedy may cancel, reduce, or deduct the corresponding credit.
No Self-Referrals
- Self-referrals are prohibited.
- Participants may not earn Referral Credit by referring themselves directly or indirectly.
- This includes attempts involving a business, DBA, subsidiary, affiliate, related entity, or other organization owned or controlled by the participant when the transaction is effectively a self-referral.
- Using another name, email address, payment method, business entity, or arrangement does not convert an otherwise prohibited self-referral into an eligible referral.
- Startup Remedy may review relevant ownership, control, payment, or transaction information when reasonably necessary to determine eligibility.
Credit Usage
- Startup Remedy Referral Credit may be used only toward eligible Startup Remedy services for the participant or a business or organization the participant legitimately owns or controls.
- Credits may accumulate from multiple qualifying referrals.
- Each credit award expires 12 months from its individual date of issuance.
- Unused expired credit is forfeited.
- Credits cannot be sold, transferred, assigned, gifted, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash.
- Referral Credit has no monetary or cash value outside eligible Startup Remedy services.
- Referral Credit cannot be used to purchase services for unrelated third parties or to obtain services for resale.
- Participants may not accept payment or other compensation from another party in exchange for using Referral Credit on that party’s behalf.
No Recurring Referral Rewards
- This is not a recurring commission program.
- The referral reward applies only to qualifying purchases recognized during the applicable referral review period.
- Purchases, renewals, subscriptions, maintenance plans, upgrades, or additional services purchased after that period do not automatically generate additional Referral Credit.
Program Administration
- Startup Remedy reserves the right to verify referral eligibility and prevent fraud, abuse, manipulation, duplicate referrals, fictitious transactions, self-referrals, or attempts to circumvent the program rules.
- Startup Remedy may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Referral Rewards Program and may update qualifying services, percentages, limits, review periods, eligibility requirements, or other program terms.
- Participation does not create an employment, agency, partnership, franchise, joint venture, brokerage, or independent sales representative relationship.
- Participants are not authorized to make promises, guarantees, pricing commitments, representations, or contractual agreements on behalf of Startup Remedy.
